Character counts.

Be careful not to overlook the fact that your behavior sets the rules of engagement for the organization. Leadership is by example and the culture reflects it.


The last scene in the movie "Scent of a Woman" is one of my favorites - "beware the type of character you're building here boys..."


Your approach to even the most insignificant event will leave a trail of breadcrumbs others will emulate. Make sure the footprint you leave in your legacy is the one for which you want to be remembered.
